Project History

The Montrose Men’s Shed is a community based not for profit organisation initiated by the former Rotary Club of Montrose and District that is accessible to all men and whose primary activity is the provision of a safe, friendly and active environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men. Its major objectives are to advance the health and wellbeing of men and to encourage social interaction. In May 2017, the Joint Venture was established to facilitate tax deductible contributions and donations in kind to support the further expansion of the Shed and to purchase a range of woodworking equipment.
